Oasis Food Pantry
Next upcoming date: Friday, June 16
Collate and distribute bags of groceries and fresh produce to families of students at University Middle School in Irvington. From our heated/air-conditioned, self-contained building on the grounds of the school, we collate and distribute the grocery bags. Setup typically begins at 1:30pm and distribution is from 4:30-6:00pm. Come for an hour or the whole time! Bring the kids after school! The Oasis building is located across from 51 Delmar Place, Irvington.
Mobile Meals
Next upcoming date: TBD
Volunteers help prepare and deliver 100 hot lunches and 100 breakfasts to Newark on the last Sunday of that month. Volunteers are needed to bake brownies at home, shop for supplies, cook parts of the meal, assemble the meal after church and deliver them to Penn Station in Newark.
St. Ann’s Soup Kitchen

Our congregation provides volunteers to St. Ann’s Soup Kitchen in Newark on any fifth Saturday of the month, where they prepare over 250 hot lunches for families in need.
Participate in Leading Worship
Be a part of leading worship! Some of the ways that you can participate are doing a reading, leading a prayer, giving a Children’s Message – or even the sermon! Let us know that you’d like to help out by signing up and we will coordinate a date with your schedule.

Task Forces are short-term commitments, charged with presiding over a particular task. Sign up below to be a part of one of the Task Forces currently in existence. This list will constantly change – so check back often!
Membership Task Force
Be a part of the task force that will look at the definition of "membership" and associated categories at our church. This Task Force will make a recommendation to the Board of Trustees.
Circle of Friends Task Force
Be a part of the task force that develops a program to connect people with other members through small group gatherings and events.
Food Truck Festival Task Force
Be a part of the task force organizing a Food Truck Festival in our parking lot in the Fall. Volunteers are needed for arranging the trucks, advertising to the public, and to work on the logistics of the event.
Outreach Task Force
Be a part of the task force that oversees the outreach activities of our church and coordinates funding requests.
Vacation Bible Camp Task Force
Help plan Vacation Bible Camp (Aug. 28 - Sept. 1). Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas, including advertising, coordinating parent volunteers, coordinating and training teen volunteers, decorating, snacks, and curriculum.
