Community Church in Short Hills, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Communications/Administrative Assistant.
A media & tech savvy person is needed to assist in
all internal/external communications (both print and electronic), promotions, and public relations.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Strong understanding and user of social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong proofreading and editing skills
Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines in an organized and efficient manner
Ability to take initiative and work independently while still functioning as part of a team
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
Professional and friendly with strong customer service skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong computer skills with ability to work across both Mac (preferred) and Windows platforms
Producing, publishing, and distributing professional-quality print and digital materials
Website and social media management
Creative writing, proofreading, and editing
Event planning and promotion
Receptionist and office management duties
Commensurate with experience
