The Reverend Dr. Johann J. Bosman
Lead Pastor
The Reverend Dr. Johann J. Bosman is the Lead Pastor of Community Congregational Church. He holds Masters Degrees in Psychology and Theology and a Doctorate in Ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary. He has expanded the church’s outreach in Irvington through monthly food and educational programs.

Alongside pastoring, Johann provides coaching and counseling for teenagers and adults. He and his wife, Hannelie, have three children—Hennie, Willem, and Helene—and enjoy traveling, hiking, and diving together.

The Reverend Marjorie Price
Children & Family Pastor
Margie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and combined her love of language and ministry to help facilitate the New York Conference’s ecumenical partnership with Misión Cristiana in Nicaragua. She later moved to the New York Metro area to complete her Master’s in Divinity at New York Theological Seminary, graduating in 2017.

Margie currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of United Church Educators. She and her partner, Eva, along with their teenage son, Liam, enjoy traveling, camping, and playing games with family and friends.

The Reverend Dr. David Knecht
Community Life Pastor
Dave has served as a pastor for many years, including leading Holy Cross Lutheran Church and several parishes in North Jersey. Earlier in his career, he was a missionary and pastor in Taiwan, where he met his wife, Mei. They are blessed with two children: a son in high school and an adult daughter living in Hudson County, and they reside in Springfield.​​​
​
Dave finds joy in ministry by seeing how the Holy Spirit works through people’s lives. He loves helping others use their gifts to serve and grow in faith and welcomes the chance to connect with members of the community.

Brian Dailey
Director of Music Ministries
Brian joined the Community Congregational Church chancel choir in December 1991. In addition to his responsibilities here, Brian teaches music for the Morris-Union Jointure Commission, working with children and young adults with autism.
In the summer months, he also acts as Program Director at Oak Crest Day Camp in Somerset, NJ. ​​​​​​​​​​​

Linda Langstaff
Financial Director
Linda Langstaff has diverse experience in a variety of settings, from the U.S. Senate to a Wall Street firm. Prior to joining the staff at Community Church, she was the Office Administrator at the United Methodist Church in Madison.
​
She has also worked as a freelance writer, editor and desktop publisher, and was the Director of Music at Union Village United Methodist Church for several years.
Linda has a B.A. in music and pursued a graduate degree in Theory and Composition at the University of Maryland.

Maddy Gelinas
Administration and Promotions Manager
Maddy supports the daily operations of the church office, serves as a welcoming first point of contact, and oversees communications to keep the congregation and community connected. Maddy graduated from New Providence High School in 2016 and later studied at Eastern Connecticut State University. She brings over 10 years of customer service experience, most recently as the Assistant Membership Director at the Summit Area YMCA.

Outside of work, Maddy enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, and their English bulldog, Moose.
